This inventory compiles statistics on research teams, their institutional affiliations, and the description of key equipment that can be used to support the research and innovation agenda on energy transition.
As part of the ENERGYTRAN project, and within Work Package 1, Deliverable D1.1 – Inventory of Research Infrastructures (RI) for the Energy Transition has been developed, with a particular focus on hydrogen and lithium.
The Energytran inventory is a mapping of scientific infrastructure in the European Union, Latin America, and the Caribbean (EULAC), focused on research groups and specialized equipment directly or indirectly linked to the lithium and hydrogen value chains for the energy transition.
This inventory compiles statistics on research teams, their institutional affiliations, and a description of the main equipment that can be used to support the energy transition research and innovation agenda.
The Energytran inventory provides an overview of EULAC capacities in material synthesis, manufacturing, characterization, process design, and performance testing in the areas of lithium processing and valorization, lithium-ion battery manufacturing, fuel cells, electrolyzers, and novel materials for the production, storage, and valorization of green hydrogen, among other topics relevant to the energy transition.
