On April 29, the Energytran project, “Citizen Participation in the Energy Transition: Reflections and Experiences”, was presented at the National University of San Martín (UNSAM) in Argentina. This event addressed the role of citizen science in research on the energy transition, drawing on best practices from three universities in the country.
The Ibero-American Observatory of Science, Technology, and Society (OCTS-OEI), with the intervention of Laura Trama, opened the program by presenting updated data on scientific production related to elements linked to the energy transition, such as lithium or hydrogen, in our region. The main conclusion emphasized the need to promote scientific production and cooperation in Ibero-America in this field, considering its scarcity in the countries of our region.
