Energytran: the Most Human Face of the Energy Transition in Latin America

Fair, sustainable, and inclusive. That’s the nature of the energy transition in this scientific and academic project promoted by the OEI.

There’s a place called Corrientes — not just the tango street (348, second floor, elevator), but a real location in northeastern Argentina, where what’s hard to come by is not currents, but electric current.

It’s a place where a quieter side of sustainable energy is being developed, far from the spotlight and major investments. And there are regions like Argentina’s Chaco where the energy transition looks nothing like the images we’re used to — wind turbines or solar panels.
