The Energytran project, funded by the European Union and coordinated by the OEI, promotes a just and sustainable energy transition between Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Through scientific cooperation, researcher mobility, and the development of clean technologies such as solar, wind, geothermal, and green hydrogen energy, the project aims to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
From Costa Rica, CeNAT — a program of the National Council of University Chancellors — has played a key role in research and knowledge exchange, promoting sustainable solutions and inclusive public policies in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
