EnergyTran is an initiative funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe programme, aiming at the development of renewable energies, as well as common public policies and regulatory frameworks in Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean for a clean, sustainable, and fair energy transition. The project seeks to support decision-making in this field based on the results emerging from knowledge generation and transfer among participating research centers.
The National Technological Institute of Mexico – Aguascalientes Institute of Technology (TECNM) is the only Mexican institution involved, participating through the Process and Environmental Chemical Systems Engineering Research Group (EnvChemPSE), led by Dr. Adrián Bonilla-Petriciolet (TECNM’s representative in the EnergyTran project), with the collaboration of Dr. Hilda E. Reynel-Ávila and Dr. Didilia I. Mendoza-Castillo, both Investigadoras por México of CONAHCYT, assigned to the Aguascalientes Institute of Technology.
Below is a radio interview published by TECNM, presenting the EnergyTran project and providing information about the EnergyTran International Workshop in Mexico, which TECNM is organizing from March 25 to 27, 2025.
