A project on clean, sustainable and just energy transition, presented by the Organisation of Ibero-American States (OEI), was selected this week under the Horizon Europe programme. The project, led by the OEI, aims to support research infrastructures for the development of green technologies, as well as the creation of public policies that contribute to achieving the goal of climate neutrality.
In its evaluation, the European Commission valued ‘the participation and coordination of the proposal’s main partner, the OEI, is amply justified by its competence and leadership in the scientific field and its capacity for institutional dialogue with all Latin American countries’.
